Madrid: From Boating to Shopping

    • Retiro Park
I certainly enjoyed this park. We  had  fun soaking up in the sun, chomping up delectable  bakery treats and crackers here. We had a fantastic time relaxing in a boat and cooling off from the lake. It was a great place to take photos.
    • The market in Plaza Espana
At the market, we found pretty inexpensive fans that make good souvenirs and cooled us down. There were plenty of souvenirs with an addition of unique patterned clothing and beautiful scarfs for a low price.

    • The Prado Museum
This museum certainly was interesting. It was very nice in an air conditioned building on a hot day in Madrid. The were quite a few impressive painting that looked realistic.  Personally, I am not a huge fan of museums, but this museum was one of the few that I liked.

    • The Caixa Forum
This museum was probably the only one besides the Louvre that has ever made me jump up and down in excitement. We didn't take a long time. We simply went straight to the ballet section. There, we went back in time and took a look at the beautiful ballerina costumes, listened to music, looked at artists such as Picasso's designs of the ballerina costume, and even danced.

    • El Museo De Cera
La Museo Del Cera, the wax museum, is fun for all ages. We were put back in time and saw Cleopatra, met the Simpsons, and took a picture next to Justin Bieber. No matter what age, you'll love it.
