Barcelona Beach in May

Yesterday my family went to the Barcelona Beach for the first time. On the beach big waves crash roughly down on people as they swim, a play area as well as a workout area lay on the sand, and Spaniards try to sell cool drinks and massages as people sit and relax. Sofia and Olivia happily collected lovely seashells along the Mediterranean shore and  though they didn't go in the water they still couldn't help but shiver with the wind cruelly blowing on us all. Nolan enjoyed making sandcastles and attempting to get in the water (though of course we wouldn't let him since he can't swim, didn't have his bathing suit, can't swim, and the waves were getting huge).  Despite the fact that it was very cold, we didn't spend too much time near the ocean, but we had a nice time and a home that sometime when it's warmer we can come back to.
