Twinkle Twinkle Eiffel Tour up Above the Ground So High

This week we went to Paris where we had loads of fun visiting museums, the Notre Dame Cathedral on palm Sunday, Versailles, the Eiffel tower, shopping, and enjoying delicious french pastries and crepes. It's hard to say just one favorite part of Paris, however, I really enjoyed visiting the Eiffel Tower. Unfortunately, this week, one of the lifts was broken so the line for the elevator was twice as long, however, our family decided to walk up as much as we could and it wasn't as difficult as we thought it would be. Surprisingly, even Nolan, who is only three didn't get out of breath as we walked up. You aren't allowed to walk all the way up so we had to stop at the second floor(which is still about 380 feet above the ground) to take a lift to get to the very top. It was definitely worth going to the Eiffel Tower because the view we got of Paris lit up at night when we reached the top was beautiful. As we came down the Eiffel tower suddenly everyone cheered and we looked up and saw bright white lights twinkling, lighting up everyone's eyes, putting a smile on their face, and completing their day. What we were seeing was the Eiffel tour light show, which comes on every hour staring at 9:00 p.m. and is different every year. While the Eiffel Tower is absolutely gorgeous at night, it is also beautiful during the day. We came and had a picnic in the sun which was very peaceful. Whether you're admiring the Eiffel tower night or day, summer or winter, it's a magical, wonderful sight.
