Park in Valladolid

This week on Wednesday we went to Valladolid with my Dad as part of the Fulbright Program, which was great because we got to meet some other kids who are traveling with their parents in Spain. A lot of the people who came were right out of college and in Spain because they had teaching assignments.
One day these people who were teaching assistants sponsored by the Fulbright Program got up to play instruments, sing, or dance and I was impressed that they were so talented.

In Valladolid we went to the statue museum, walked around the shops, saw a castle, and went to a park. The park in Valladolid was honestly the best park I've ever seen. First of all, when you walk in, peacocks are sitting everywhere (sometimes even with their beautiful feathers up) welcoming you. In fact, my sisters counted 20 peacocks throughout the park. Aside  from peacocks, they also have a great variety of animals like adorable squirrels that people feed (yes, the squirrels eat right out of people's hands and they did this in London too), ducks, and brightly colored birds. Also, the park in Valadolid had a huge  playground with very tall slides which Nolan and Sofia loved. Overall, Valadolid was a great trip.

  1. So what is in the statue museum? Old statues that are no longer fit to be in public? In need of repair? Outdated? Interesting. Valladolid sounds beautiful, as does Barcelona in general. Love reading your posts! Love, EP

    1. The statue museum I was talking about in this post is actually a sculpture museum. It had lots of Christian sculptures, and a whole section of sculptures that they put in an Easter parade in Valladolid. Thanks for reading our posts and commenting!
