Like many museums in the world, the Pablo Picasso Museum is free on the first Sunday of each month. Sadly, after getting lost for a good half an hour and finding a line that was about 100 people long, we decided to give up on that idea and instead chose to explore new areas. We wound up near the beach, where cruises depart. At the end of the 5-mile afternoon, Sofia phrased it best when she said, "we pretty much spent the whole day walking in a circle." You'd think kids would have complained about walking, but ice cream refills their tanks. Nolan's peculiar faces are proof of that.

Ice Cream and Gasoline

Sweet Nolan- That ice cream sounds well-deserved! Jose- is it just the way I read your posts, or do you get lost a lot? :) Always an adventure. EP
ReplyDeleteElaine, we definitely get lost a lot. Part of the problem now is that there is a section of town with very tiny streets, mostly for walking, and once you get into those neighborhoods, there really aren't any main roads. This trip has been a challenge for me in saying, "it's okay, we can get lost and things will still be alright." That's usually not my personality:-).
